Reihaneh's Directional Movement DLO

Today Reihaneh has been working very hard to complete her directional movement task. Not only did Reihaneh draw a beautiful picture to help identify the positions of objects, she also correctly placed arrows in half, quarter and full turns. 

Making our own Maths questions

Today we had a picture of four monkeys and we had to make a maths
questions using the picture.  We made heaps of questions and then
solved them.

There are 4 monkeys sitting together. These are half of the total
number of monkeys in the jungle. How many monkeys are there
in the whole jungle?

Answer is 8

Soliana’s Question

Four monkeys went for a picnic. They took three pizzas with them.
How much pizza will each monkey have if they share them equally?

Answer is three quarters (3/4)

Htoo Say’s Question

There are 4 monkeys in a family. There are 6 families of monkeys
in the jungle. If each family has the same number of monkeys,
how many monkeys will be there altogether?

Answer is 24

Mrs Grady’s Question

There are 4 monkeys having a rest on the rocks.
Suddenly another group joined them which doubled their numbers.
How many monkeys were there altogether? 

+=                           

      4          +          4     =                   8

Double (4 + 4 = 8), (4 and 4 equals to 8)   Or

4 x 2 = 8,  because 4 monkeys x 2 groups = 8
