What are viruses? by Reihaneh

A virus is a tiny deadly sickness that can spread around a country or around the world.Viruses can cause diseases in humans, such as colds, measles, cough, and flu. A virus can spread by coughing or sneezing. You could get the virus if you go around the world. Some viruses cannot be cured and some can. Most viruses can’t survive very long if they are not inside living things like a plant, animal,or person.Viruses need to be inside living cells to grow, replicate and reproduce. So whatever a virus lives in, is called “its host” Unfortunately, antibiotics don't work on viruses like they do on bacteria. Bacteria can reproduce outside of the body or within the body as they cause infections such as ear infections, sore throats, cavities and pneumonia.

To prevent the spreading of the virus such as coronavirus, you have to keep 1 to 2 meter apart from other people. Stay in your own bubble. Seek medical health if you are sick or if you have any of the virus symptoms like high fever, loss of smell, sore throat, cough and running nose. Wash your hands often, especially after using the bathroom. Use a mask to cover your face when you go outside in public places. Use the tissue to cover your mouth when you sneeze and cough then throw it in the rubbish bin. Use the Covid-19 tracer app to record or scan where you have travelled.

Covid-19 from HToo Say Wah

Covid-19 is a Destructive virus that has affected people all
around the world.
It is a deadly virus that can kill a lot of people.
About a thousand people have died because of that virus.

Before Covid-19 happened we lived happily, we could hug
and hang out with our friends like sitting together with them
and chatting, there were no lockdowns, school was not
closed, we could always get takeaways, learning happened
at school, all malls and restaurants were opened and we
could travel to places.

But now that Covid-19 started on 25th March 2020 the
whole country has been shut down, learning is happening
online, school is closed, we have a strict lockdown, there is
social distancing that have to be maintained, we can’t see our
friends, we can only chat online, Everything is closed except
for chemists, doctors, gas stations and grocery stores,
no takeaways allow in level 4 lockdown, people are not free to
move around and all planes have stopped from visiting other
countries.

I only hope that the virus stops so I can see my friends
again face to face.

middle and end.

  1. Beginning - What happens?
On Wednesday by aliens, But they were not aliens they were time travellers
from the future And when Mr Potts was telling the school about it they didn't
believe him. Everyone was laughing until Mr Potts said that the time travellers
wanted to come to their school to learn and take a trip around the school.

  1. Middle - What happens?
Mrs Hayes took the other time travellers to all the little classes and
there were two of them that went with Morgan, a boy named Xan and a girl

took photos picking their boogers but Zu said only babies do that. In their
classroom they had whiteboards and in Xan and Zu’s school they had flexible
tablets and screens and at playtime they had virtual theme park. But in the
school they had slides and swings.
