Life cycle of a butterfly

The mother Butterfly lays eggs on the new leaves of a swan plant. When the caterpillar is ready to come out the egg hatches. When the baby caterpillar is born, it feeds on the leaves of the swan plants. The caterpillar will continue to eat until it is big. The caterpillar will hang itself upside down under a leaf and will become a chrysalis.

2 weeks later…
It will come out of its chrysalis as a Butterfly. Then it has to dry off the stickiness on the wings by slowly flapping its wings. Then it will continue the generations of butterflies.
